Bug in pa1xpro software???

Post by neverkorgagain »

I have pa1xpro, and everything works perfect.... but i noticed sopmething... and im sure i found a BUG.

Ill try to explain, most of my sound are RAM samples, and on bass track i use custom ram sound, and sometimes when i play in band, i play manual bass.... so i turn button MANUAL BASS and when i try to tune that bass, +1 octave, tune wont work.... only works on +2..... when i do +1 it plays same octave...

Tryed with facory bass its same.... and this happens on every style... i cant change bass octave....
o.s is 3.00 so i guess il have to upgrade

any opinions??? :D :

I had the same issue because I play a lot of bass too and I finally figured it out. The octave button on the Style screen next to the instrument doesn't work right for the bass for some reason. I think it has to do with that Style screen being set up for live work and you don't want to change the bass out of the instruments normal range on a gig but that's just a guess. I had to hit Edit from the Style screen, hit Mixer/Tuning and set it there. Page 84 in my manual, don't know about yours. I'm using the latest OS as well.

Go here and scroll to the bottom.

The manual is available in several different languages. If there's a problem I have it as a PDF but it's 32 mb, too big for an email attachment, I could send it to you using one of several websltes that can handle larger files. Let me know.

Hello!
When you hit manual bass you use the bass sound used in the bass channel
of the style. Press trk sel ( lower of the screen onth left) shift + octave you
change the octave on anything you want.
Regards Bill
