I wonder if anyone here have triyed to play mp3 files inPA3x ,
Are there any problems with if or works fine ? i heard some rumours about problems reading and playing mp3 files .... maybe because bitrate probs or something ?

i had many probs in 2 X before, But after OS renwed Its working Fine, But i never trust it , Couse i had audience,3000 persons And it hanged once.

Hello, Korg Pa3X own MP3 songs and play without problems. OK. There are no problems with it. This acceleration and deceleration, and the transposition of the songs very well. FEAR IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!

I HAD THIS PROBLEM
Hello guys.
I just received the new PA3X and the main reason I purchased it is because of the MP3 player and guess what!!!! it's NOT working.
So what I did of course I reload the PA#X OS as well as the Pa3X_RES and tried again and still not working. I even upgrade with the 256 RAM that I have and did it again still not working.
Any ideas Guys?

Not every mp3 file is the same (in the sense of technical structure).
The most explicit difference between mp3's is the bitrate, ranging from 8 (never seen one) to 320 kbit/s.
In the past not all players were capable to play all different bitrates, especially the higher bitrates, but nowadays this isn't a problem anymore.
Other differences are fixed or variable bitrates and the encoder that is used for making the mp3. But modern mp3 players shouldn't have problems with that either.
My Pa3X plays mp3's fine, bitrates 128 - 320 kbps, fixed or variable, whether encoded with lame, xing, fraunhofer or blade.
I checked the manual, but couldn't find specifications what mp3's are compatible, so I guess you can play them all.

Well my doubts are gone....
after triyed everything , os update , factory reset and all the pa3x 76 i sold have problems ... it acts as if there is no mp3 board installed ,
Now on pa3x there is no expansion board , the mp3 player and recorder is onboard.. i made a backup of all stuff in this pa3x 79 and loaded the same into my pa3x and other brand new pa3x 76 and mine and the new player mp3!!! Its definately a problem of this Pa3x 76.
I already contacted KORg about that and my Korg tecnician and the solution may be a new motherboard.
Hope this helps to everyone who have mp3 player problems .
