cool sub bass sound

sound starts at :25 and is more prominent at 1:05 and 1:49

the sub bass sounds simple but has interesting modulation that is almost like a wobble

i'm not trying to copy the track or anything- but i've heard bass kind of like this in alot of other tracks- this one stuck out a little though, so thats why i'm trying to recreate it.

Anybody? I can't figure out what kind of modulation it is, and also can you modulate gain? btw?

Gain is the same as amplitude for most things - just a different word for it with a slightly different meaning in some contexts. But modulating amplitude is fine.

If you're using certain drive or waveshaper modes, you could also modulate the drive depth as well as or instead of the amplitude.

Can't listen to the example right now. I'll try to find the time later.
