Sample bank volume slider is loose on KP3

Post by parasitedan »

Hey everyone,

First post so sorry if I've missed something on this problem in the past but in my defense I did do an extensive search on the issue. Anyways, I noticed that my samples are being kept really quiet due to a "loose" volume slider after years of heavy use. I can press the thing down with my finger and it puts the samples at the appropriate volume, but obviously I can't be doing this when I'm trying to do other things (I only have 2 hands!). Unfortunately I bought my KP3 over 3 years ago, and I bought it secondhand to begin with so there's no way that it's still under warranty. I'm fairly technically proficient so I feel like if someone has faced this problem before and had a guide I could tackle it myself.

Let me know if there's any other info you need. I greatly appreciate any and all help.

Yes that was my issue on the linked one above. My volume slider became loose and malfunctioned. I replaced it with a 5 Kohm linear slider. Its a 45mm track length you need. You can pick one up for around $0.50-$1.00
