A City In Florida

Post by Morshu »

I find these buzzy distorted basses really hard to replicate:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rp2KqZUCsBY
it starts at about :40 and gradually becomes more phased- i've been able to get the phasing part of it right, but the bass itself sounds really thin.... i cant make it buzz the way it does in this track... would FM work?
is there a sine in this btw?
I'm not with my synth right now so i can't really post my attempt, but i will later-

The sound sounds simple, but it sounds like its a collage of multiple basses at the same time which is the issue...
