Can someone confirm INT-B039 (Bass is Sharp)

Post by Lou »

When I try to play this combi, the bass always seems to sound sharp?
I thought it was just on the Pads page, but playing a chord the bass still sounds sharp to me? Can someone check this and confirm that I'm loosing it.

Edit: The combi (Bass) must have been ported or what ever wrong. If you go into the Parameters/Transpose and tick it down one, then it's correct..

This is Combi I-B 039 Steel Duet, and the bass being played by KARMA?

I just listened to this and checked with a tuner, and it appears to be fine. As with many stringed instruments, the bass sampled for this program takes a little while to settle into pitch. The steel string guitar is also copied to multiple channels and detuned against itself, which causes a little pitch ambiguity.

Hi Dan,

You're right! I just reloaded the combi and it sounds fine now.
I can't explain what happened, but if you would have heard it, I think you would have agreed.. strange, I know. :)

If it happens again, try wiggling the joystick and let it re-center. Every now and then I've had a Combi where it seemed like there was some pitch bend artifact that messed it up. It hasn't happened often and it catches me off guard, so I never remember what might have caused it.
