OASYS as a Pro Tools Controller

Post by Dr. Who »

Has anyone mapped the OASYS as a Pro Tools controller. I've been using an Axiom on the road as a Pro Tools controller and it's been wonderful. I see all of the sliders knobs etc. on the OASYS and they are screaming to be used as a Pro Tools controller in the studio. I have to imagine someone is using the OASYS in this method... I'm just looking for tips to get me started. Thanks in advance!

First , determine what in Pro Tools you want to control by the control surface capabilities on the Oasys ?

In the Parameter Guide manual beginning P.560 . Here is the instruct on how to setup all the knobs and sliders for external control

P. 957 gives an example of a midi mixer as a starting place

Read this Oasys material plus any Pro Tools documentation on how to facilitate
faders, pans, mute & solo buttons etc. Then start experimenting
