Korg Trinity plus with GarageBand-trouble in midi settings

Hello there.

I am new to Korg and Mac and I have been trying to send the midi out from my Korg trinity plus to Garage Band. I cant get these signals reach my garageband. I have tried changing the settings provided below but still no success. I am sure that the signals are not going out of my korg since the signal lights in Garageband does not blink. The midi settings in GB does say that it detects one midi input detected.

My P1 settings are set to
midi channel : 01
midi clock external
key transpose : +00

P2 settings:
all enable check boxes: checked
all protect ones: unchecked

Am I missing something here in the settings. Many thanks in advance.
