Pa50 - Can't load from HDD/CF (with VIDEO)!

Post by Gkiokan »

Hi guys,

I Installed a HDD / CF Kit on my PA50 from werbeeg.
Somehow they don't reply anymore however I put thoose thing by side after it didn't worked for some reason.

Now I wanna catch that up again and thought you may help me.
I made a Video with the failure which appears if i try to load files from the HDD.
So the good thing is, my pa seems to read everything on the HDD, so I can see, what is inside.
But if I try to load them, it says curruped file or stuff -> see video for this.

Also I tried to save a selfrecorded short midi file, even this isn't working corectly.
Same thing happen if I try to save anything else over the Disk menü.

I looked up some theards here, similar problems has been before with the HDD / CF Adapter in Pa60/80. I didn't tried also with a 2,5" HDD sofar couz I don't got the normal IDE Wire for this.

I would really appereance this, if anyone can helps me with that.
Can anyone give me some Pictures about the Pa60/80 Mainboard?
I'm pretty sure we Installed the SMD komponents corectly (installed by a smd manufacture).
Maybe there is something missing, or otherwise i can compare mineone.

Here's the Video about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqhyL_X0 ... bg&lf=plcp

Thanks in advance
best regards

Hello,

so you mean, my Card isn't supported or not quality enough for KORG?
This could be a reason.

I hope you are in right, I looked in the theard there are 3 cards which would be working as I understand.

I was using a 8GB from Transcend 133x, maybe it was to slow???

Okey, so I must look for one of thoose listed below:
- APACER 2GB
- RIDATA CF color silver 150X
- RIDATA color green 266x

Thanks for this, I'll try the cards as far I can buy them to Germany.
