After touch powering B3 rotary

Post by darrylh »

I end up playing bass with my left hand, and B3 with my right at gigs. My K2600x is programmed so the B3 rotary would turn on/off with aftertouch. No need to hit a switch or a pedal.

Joystick +Y turns on/off most of the rotary effects on my Kronos 88. When I change the rotary patch setting to either after touch or poly after touch, it doesn't work.

After touch is enabled in the midi filter global area.

Any ideas??

Sorry, I believe I just solved it

I just read a post on adjusting the aftertouch calibration. After calibration of the aftertouch pressure levels, it now works.

I am having trouble calibrating the the aftertouch again though, it keeps saying "can't calibrate", it's a bit confusing

You calibrate the min and max of the pressure there, indeed a little tricky but when you got that error you omitted one of them, probably the min.
