How to use the sequencer step write feature

I am a newbie on here and just wanted to know how to use the step/write feature on the Korg Triton Extreme to programme a drum pattern in?

I am currently also getting to grips with the sequencer, so i cannot tell you exactly how it is done

the PDF manual downloads are handy , but i think youd need to be more specific with your question to get answers round here

Hi Batsinthebelltower

I have seen the Quick start guide but it does not explain things very well and even though I was able to access the step write sequencer feature i am trying to work out if this is the only way to access it as once you have added the drum pattern etc you cannot edit it later.

I was thinking that there must be another and better way to access the sequencer and step/write feature where you can edit any notes you have added.
