How to Assign a Sequence into a Pad " Pa800 "

Post by moebrand »

Hi Guys,
My question is regarding assigning a sequence into a pad.
While I assign " lets say strings " into the pad it plays and follows what ever chord I play in whatever style I am plying , but when I want to change the string sequence to something like Harp every time I have to hit the Pad button and it will play it only once and not following the chords repeatedly .
Can someone tell me what I need to do to keep the Harp sequence play and follow the chords over and over?
Thanks!

Hi
Manual Page 153 ( in mine)

Section
Pad Track Controls: Sound Expression

Pad Type

You have to set it to LOOP not One Shot

Look it up in Manual, it shows a diagram

Hi Rikki,
The manual is showing the pad record mode and in there I had to edit the pad to loop and save it into a new location.
I was just wondering why some sequences play as loops and some don't while assigning them to the same pad.
Thanks Rikki for your time!

Hi
look , not sure, I haven't fiddled round with pads in quite a while.. Default may actually be "One Shot where it's only supposed to play the once.

If doing user pads , I always check the settings, just in case.

Hi @ All,

i once again want to let you know, that MANY aspects of "How to create new PADs"

* from Styles (Abstracting)

* by Yourself (From Beginning)

and including them even at last in STYLES.

All that is completely handled in my
fully pictured "step by step" WORKSHOPS, which you can download in ENGLISH from my homepage.

Maybe, that, **"by the way"** you get some information still missing in your own "workaround" !

TBLECK,

Thank you!!!

I've had my KORG for 14 months and now I finally know how to create a PAD from a STYLE track! Your tutorial was just the ticket!!!

best regards,
Rick

p.s The instructions worked perfectly on my PA500. ;-)
