Using the TR's buttons as midi controllers

Post by anarchyxyz2 »

Hello,

I recently moved to using Reason 5 and my question is: when I go into reason to assign controllers to various things, all the knobs and buttons on the TR are dead [ not activating ] when I push them, only the keys come through.

I am using a the TR's USB connection to my computer.

Can the buttons and knobs be used for controlling midi or do I have to buy a new separate midi controller keyboard?

Thank you.

Hi!

When you use your controllers on the TR, the intsrument sending a MIDI CC message across the global channel. You must check the parameters what you want to controlling. They are rendered for the correct MIDI CC number?

On the page 126. in the Op.Manual there are a list of the correct CC numbers for the each controllers...
