Using Swing on Drum Patterns

I am in the process of learning and reading the manual for the m50 but for the life of me I can not find out to set a swing amount to a drum groove Ive created. I can only find the swing setting in P7 for arpegiation. I know this advanced machine has swing. Can somebody explain how to use swing on the M50? Thanks for the help in advance.

Just like to add that I'm also interested in knowing if this is possible ;)

From page 202 of the M50 Parameter Guide (available as a download from korg.com):

1. In Track Select, specify the track.
2. Select “Quantize” to open the dialog box.

Use Swing to add a sense of swing to the rhythm. For
example, this provides an easy way to give a slight
shuffle groove to a “square” 16-beat rhythm.
Settings other than 0% will add a sense of swing by
adjusting the position of the notes at even-numbered beats
relative to the specified Resolution. With a setting of +100%,
these notes will be moved one third of the way toward
intervals of the specified Resolution. With a setting of
+300%, notes of even-numbered beats will be moved all the
way to the next even-numbered beat.

Just an added note on use.

If swing % acts the same as it does on the Triton Extreme (it should) then a swing factor around 5% is all it takes to make a slightly looser, more "human" feel on patterns that are still recognizably 4 on the floor.

Adjusting swing between 10% and 15% will add the slightly "half-swung" feel needed for house and club style drums - at this point they feel much less machinelike.

I reserve the 25 to 30 percent for things I want to sound more strictly swung in more of a 6/8 or 12/8 style.

Swing % above 40, IMO, distorts the pattern too much -- it sounds like a different pattern all together and may not be as musically useful to you - like a bass drum hit on the 3rd triplet of 1. If you push swing far enough it could come back around to the beat, but how useful that is will depend on the style of music you're trying to do.

Thanks guys, but I personally was referring to the drum track in combi mode, not sequencer mode. Is it possible to add swing to the drum track in combi mode specifically? I haven't come across any way to do this.

I'll admit that I don't know if it's doable. So, the workaround would be to copy the combi into a sequence, add the drum track to (for example) Track 10, add the swing percentage and then save the song to an SD card.

Maybe Im missing something. When I go to Track select I do not get any menus. I get midi track 1-16 and a master track. Ive looked everywhere. My software version is 1.1.0. Can somebody guide me through this?

go in sequencer mode, enter Track Edit Page (seq P6) and select the track with groove pattern in it, select also starting and ending measures, e.g. MIDI track 10 from measure 1 to 4, then touch on the upper right corner the button with the black arrow to open the track menu and select Quantize

Here is the missing piece with regards to having swing available in combi mode. As per this thread from the Kronos forum, you can edit a drum track in sequence mode and then save that as a user pattern:
