Still having problems navigating MICRO OS - help!

I love the sounds, style and features of the MicroArranger, but I'm still not able to figure out simple, necessary moves.
1. When playing a SMF, how do I access the STS voices? I keep getting whatever is on ch 1 and I know that's not right.
2. Same with style play - I can easily access the STS with buttons 1-4, but where can I consistently find them on the screen? They show up every now and then, but I can never remember how to find them.
3. Song vs Song Play: which should I use to load and play SMFs in seq 1 and 2?
4. Seq 1-2: Help me remember how to efficiently use both for SMF play.

Most of this, I know is keystrokes and pages. But I have a difficult time finding these answers in the manual and hope that someone else's explanation can make these things clearer to me. I need to be able to do these things on the fly LIVE if I ever plan to use this arranger for anything other than a diversion.

Hi cassp,

I am new to the micro arranger and I haven`t got any experience with
midifiles. So I can`t help you about songplay and sequencer as yet.

Below the on/off switch you`ll see the display hold button. Normally
I have it off.
After you selected a style, say for example Bank 1> Soft Beat,
the display changes back to standard, which shows you the main information.
Next to the style it shows the STS. Below you can see (and edit) the Voices in use.

To see ( and edit ) the voices of the accompaniment you will have to press
Track Select below the display.

To change the the STS you can use F1 -F4, or otherways press the performance button and choose a performance out of one of the
20 banks.
The lower 10 banks ( sax to user DK ) are empty for you to arrange and save your own favorite STS.

Btw.: If you press Program, the same 20 Banks are containing all the
sounds or voices.
