Like 3D Graphics and Modelling ?

Post by Sharp »

If you are interested in 3D Modelling and 3D Graphic Design....

I'm a member of www.daz3d.com for years and I purchased a lot of their software.

Hexagon 2.5 for 3D modelling cost $150 to buy.
Bryce 7 Pro cost $250
Daz Studio Pro cost $430

Right now, if you go there you can download them all for FREE...!!!!

Seriously..!!!!

No catch at all.
It's all full version software, same as I paid for.

lol... not sure I'm too happy about that.

Hexagon 2.5 is a full modelling package so I see no benefit in them giving that away for free. They cannot make any additional money from you.

Daz Studio and Bryce on the the other hand, if you get hooked on the software and you like what you see, chances are that if you cannot 3D model you will buy pre made models direct from their online store, so I think that's what they are hoping for there.

This all looks very cool! I'm sure I'll be in way over my head, but you can't beat the price even if you find it's not your cup of tea.

Thanks for the info, Sharp.

There is one catch. You will want to join their Platinum club - $100 a year, sometimes less during a sale.
You will want to purchase their content.

It is kind of like "The shaver is free but you have to buy the razor blades."

This is not meant to be a "dis" I have all their software and I am a platinum club member.
Go for it.

I was able to register (no cost) and have started to download one of their free 3D packages. Wasn't asked to join any Platinum club.

Haven't encountered any charges yet.

Nope... different kettle of fish altogether. Daz's company is into corporate software.

I think I did not state this properly. There is no cost. However, once you have the free software you may wish to join the platinum club. Or you may wish to purchase content and models from their store.

My statement was me trying to be funny or witty.

Looks AWESOME. Will these programs work on a Mac? Didn't see any specifics in terms of system requirements.

Yes, both PC and Mac versions for all 3 progarms.

When you login to your account to download them, both versions will be sitting in your download section.
