Hi There ! I need to replace the common part level pot of my EM-1. However, I don´t know the part number or right pot type. Is this type the right one?? http://www.guitar-parts.com/catalog/kor ... -362009018

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Norberto, according to the description it's "Rotary Pot for Korg Keyboards, volume pot for ES1, EA1, EM1, ER1", so it should be the right one, i will order one of these too.

I'm not sure but that looks like a stereo pot. In the name where it says 'for volume' gives a bit of a clue. Pots that are used directly on analog signals like the volume pot (normally wired in series straight after the amplifier as an attenuator) will be a log (logarithmic) curve.

Pots for data input (I.e. connect to a ADC, such as the level, filter cutoff, etc knobs need o be of a lin (linear) curve.

Thanks for the information and pics. I worry about stuff like this because I am not good at repairs.
Congratulations on fixing it. I hope I can keep my esx running for a long long time.
