Kronos crash... but then update and all is well!

Post by orangefunk »

Yep all was going well with the Kronos until it let out a high pitch scream when I was playing the piano and promptly resetted then came up with a message saying it could not restart...

So I took the opportunity of updating to OS1.5 and all is well.

Is the piano/OS crash limited occurence only for OS1.0 or does it also happen in 1.5?

Just want to know in case I gig with it.

I had the same thing happen on OS1.0
Korg fixed it in OS 1.5
I've had no crashes with OS 1.5

I'm still upset that they left in the "critique your playing" code in the OS!!!!!! The previous version would just post an unhappy face, but this screaming and stopping is just too much! I mean it went away when I started playing Yanni and sometimes some Roland demos would fool it, but by and large it forced me to practice more, but I hated it!

Mine screamed as power dipped too low and then rebooted
But that was the only time. Getting a small UPS fixed that.
