Anyone using motion sound Pro3/ low pro with Kronos

Post by Petekey »

So there is a Motion SOund Pro3 rotor/ Low Pro combo locally for $450. Anybody use any of this with Kronos or anything else? Still takes up space, maybe a ventilator is the way to go.

Thanks,
Pete

I have the Motion Sound KBR-3D with the rotor. Its rotor effect is nice, fast and slow speeds etc. Be that as it may, I don't find that it is significantly better than the on board rotor effect in the CX3 engine, I have an Oasys. The on board effect is more extensive in that you have the ability to adjust more settings, ie re-position the mic effect, etc which also come into play. On the other hand my Motion Sound also has a stereo channel side that I do like when playing live. So I tend to use the stereo channel and the on board rotor effect in the Oasys as my "go to" set up because I do not limit myself to the CX3 engine when playing live. Hope that makes sense. YMMV

ps Now that I think about it; if one was to spend the time to set up his CX3 sounds without the on board rotor effect and then the audio to two different outs, then both channels of the Motion Sound KBR-3D sould be used at he same time. Hummmmm...got me thinkin
