Format 2GB SD Card

Hello everyone. I know that in order for the 2GB sd card to work, you have to format it to FAT (same as FAT16). Now my question is with regards to the allocation unit size...do you keep it at 32 kilobytes or 16 kilobytes or something different? Thank you in advance!!!
