A factory reset of the computer

Post by adamkol1 »

Hello! I'm from Polish.

Does anyone know if you can restore the factory settings Korg M50, from a computer? If so, I would ask for as much information as possible to do so.

By chance, bad calibration of the screen, and now the end is not working as it should. I can not press the Menu (top right), and this is needed to restore the factory settings.

Anyone know what to do in this situation?

I apologize for my mistakes.

I don't think so ... why not using a SD card?

Thank you. I have the option to enter the calibration screen, but I can just press the square in the lower right corner, but I can not press the square in the upper left corner. Why?

It seems to me that the display is good. Because with him all the options work, but not exactly where you need to press. In addition, the USB key plugged into the computer, and played, and I shifted all the names of the categories of sounds. It may have something in common?

I use the dictionary, so I apologize for the errors.

Hard Reset:
From the manual:

"If operation of the M50 should become unstable, you
can initialize it.
Turn off the power, and then, while holding down the
RESET CONTROLS switch and REALTIME
CONTROL switch, turn the power on.
The M50 will be initialized. While the data is being
loaded, the display will indicate “Now writing into
internal memory.”

note that every custom programs and combis will be lost

I did a HARD RESET but it did not help. I would add that from somewhere from the larger half of the down, the display is accurate and can be accurately press, only the top of the display is not accurate.

Holding the "enter" and selecting the individual digits of the numeric keys, you can select functions from the menu. And in the global mode is the "Half Damper Calibration". What is it?

I suggest calling Korg Support.

Half damper is a special 'switch' which has 3 states instead of two (on/off) and used for piano playing ... wikipedia is your friend.
