Kronos and iPad apps
I don't have one but I'm interested. So I'd like to know what you guys are using on your iPad with the Kronos.

I use Midi Touch via WiFi to edit Kronos parameters via the Kronos Editor (as it translates the incoming Midi Touch CC messages to Korg's Sysex).
I've now got several layouts for the AL-1 which emulates (more or less) some of my favourite vintage analogue synths - at least now I don't have to spend a great deal of time trawling through tabs, menus and pages trying to find particular parameters where you expect them to be, but aren't... Grrr!!! Korg, are you listening? ; )

I use the Set List Maker (free) on stage and downloaded also the "Send Midi Commands" App which belongs to the Set List Maker (1,59 Euro).
It is perfect for me. I can manage the Setlist, with Leadsheets and when choosing a song, it chooses the right Slot in Set-List Mode...

She told me it was either her or the Kronos! I'm going to miss her...
You should try UnRealbook...it even lets you link a "control midi" which auto sends to the keyboard when the chart is loaded...all in the one app..no need for separate apps..Laste7 wrote:I use the Set List Maker (free) on stage and downloaded also the "Send Midi Commands" App which belongs to the Set List Maker (1,59 Euro).

Here is an example I did with a Korg PA series keyboard, but the Kronos also accepts CC's to change a setlist file so should work pretty much the same.
PA used a 99/98 6 chain over the control channel, whereas the Kronos uses a bank and program chain only.
Here is a link to the demo I did....

With the kronos i use:
- StepPolyArp (as an arpeggiator addon)
- Yamaha Keyboard Arp & Drum Pad (the drum pads can hold chords, just like the 8 pads on the Kronos, only there are a lot more pads in this app)
- Midi studio, for activating the Pads from the Kronos
- Animoog (synth)
- Soundbeam (oscilloscope)
And of course the standard must have music apps:
- Garage Band
- IMS 20
- I-Electribe R
- Aurora Sound Studio
- MorphWizz
For score reading i use:
- Cloudreader (PDF Reader)
And of course is use a lot of other musical programs for things like sight reading practicing, chord advisors, fun synths, etc..

Hi Guys,
I can control "the Kronos pads" by iPad It's very good, but I'm looking for an application where I can set what notes will sound when you press the pad 1, 2 ... 12. And during the live performance hold chords/samples by iPad.
Just like the 8 pads on the Kronos, but not limited to only 8 pads.
I think it's possible use a combi, set the midi channel on iPad and adjust for example (on iPad only)
Pad1 = Midi channel 2 = C3, G3, B3 and D6 (Sample trigger)
....
Pad12 = Midi channel 5 = D4, F#4, A4 and A5 (Sample trigger)
Anyone know something similar?
Thankyou
