Korg Micro X jog Wheel

Post by Hexfix93 »

Works fine going down, going up skips, goes down, glitches, unusable.

Any way to fix this? I am desperate, i just bought it to find this out after i paid for it. Still want it if there is an easy cheap fix..

The pot is down. Order new one. That's what I did for my Triton Extreme - arrived from the States within a week. Try:

Check what kind of pot is needed - knowing company policy, it could be the same pot as in all Triton models (obviously you need the one for encoder - that turns with a slight jumpy resistance. Mine had the same skippy symptoms). Good luck.

Does anyone know yet what the specific pot is that the Micro X uses for the main jog wheel? I browsed the site listed in the response above, but there are many encoders and none of them are listed as being compatible with the Micro X. There are a few listed as being compatible with various other Triton models though. Perhaps the Micro X service manual can shed a light on the exact part number?
