Working for me!

Post by Chrisl »

I just installed Win 7 on a new PC, downloaded the (latest) K61p drivers from the Korg site, and I'm using my K61P with it now. So it does work as far as the OS goes.

To clarify: I have an Audigy 4 Pro soundcard and hub, and the keyboard is plugged into the computer via USB, and a MIDI cable into the SB hub. I'd guess that the USB is all that's really being used at the moment, but I've played it in FL Studio and several standalone piano programs, and so far so good.
(I'm having a velocity sensitivity problem on a few keys, but overall it does work with Win 7.)

Just a guess, but if you haven't downloaded the latest drivers, I'd do that, and then perhaps test with a standalone piano program just to simplify matters.

thx Chris - what I determined was that the usb port failed on my keyboard. I've run a standard midi cable to my DAW to work-around it just fine

It's a nice controller - I love it
