Can the R3 Replicate the MK XL, And is it better?

Post by mrsonic996 »

I really want to know. Could the R3 Do the same sounds as the XL Can?
Would an R3 be more worth it?

And how well is the Interface on the R3. Is it as easy to create and modify Synths on the R3 as it was on the original MicroKORG?

The interface is bett on the R3. The effects section is better on the R3 too. It has a few other things that the XL lacks too.

But if you're looking for a rubbish mono piano smoke and a bunch if other cheap gimmicks like the battery powered portability, by all means go for the XL. The R3 doesn't have those, but it is reasonably sized.

The actual sound generation algorithms are the same.
