PA50SD as sound generator. Where the hell is the vol cont?
Have my computer hooked to the keyboard. Running midis through it. Works great. Can't figure out how to control the volume of the incoming signal so that I can play along with it. Master Volume controls everything. And no, computer volume controls don't work this way. Actually using Karafun so that I have words on my puter screen. The PA50SD book is so unnerving. I'm ready to trade this damn thing in and go back to Yamaha. Any ideas that make sense???

What program are you using on your computer to play the midis? Some midi play programs will allow you to control the overall volume and individual channel volumes before the midi is sent to your keyboard.Pianoman2054 wrote:Have my computer hooked to the keyboard. Program
I am not using a program for the midis. I am simply routing them thru the Korg keyboard. I use Karafun for the karaoke files and to play the lists I've created. When a .kar file plays, I route it thru the headphone jack into a PA system. The midis automatically route thru the keyboard and into the PA. But I've found how to regulate the volume of the midis coming into the keyboard. Now I just need to have a program that equalizes the volume of all songs. Since they were recorded at different volumes, I need a program to set all volumes to the same setting.

Volume settings for each song can be saved to a playlist with this program.

Van Basco's
Yeah, You can do that with Karafun too. I have probably about 100,000 songs, midi, kar, mp3, etc., and wanted something that just regulates the volume of everything coming out of the computer. I certainly can't do each and every song.
