http://www.ekomusicgroup.com/viewdoc.asp?co_id=87945
is in italian, but I will translate the highlights
The Sample User banks allow the creation of large sound libraries, able to use the possibilities offered by the large RAM memory and the internal SSD drive.
Within the instrument can be added a second SSD, in order to properly use the new sound libraries of large dimensions
KRONOS now supports USB Ethernet interface for high speed data transmission between the device and your computer.

I'm wondering if the 3 GB is enough to hold all libraries (or a lot).
I have now 3 GB and had to remove the Japanese library to make space for the legendary strings and austrian piano.
Or would the X have 4 GB (?)

It's here! I don't know why I am so excited. I already own a K61. But I had entered the X marks the spot contest. NOW, on the Korg.com site, they gave away a "Kronos X"...Yes, it looks like an enhanced version with a 62 gig hard drive AND THE 2.0 OPERATING SYSTEM. I hope all of these upgrades will be compatible with all of our existing Kronos'.
Kronos 2 61, Wavestation A/D, Yamaha Genos and others.
after the upgrade Kronos will be exactly like a KxDennyC wrote:It's here! I don't know why I am so excited. I already own a K61. But I had entered the X marks the spot contest. only difference is that we will have to purchase our own 2nd SSD drive and then get it "professionally" installed.afr wrote:after the upgrade Kronos will be exactly like a KxDennyC wrote:It's here!
