Workaround for multi-touch/external monitor?

Post by Hayer »

So i was thinking of picking up a cheap windows based tablet (acer-w500). Installing the editor on it and using it as kind of a second screen for my k-88, since the editor is pretty much identical to the kronos interface.

advantages are: I wouldn't have to hunch over the screen if I didnt want to, I could set the tablet in my lap or anywhere else comfortable as well as being able to move knobs and paramenters with a simple finger swipe vs touching the screen and moving the value slider. Plus the screen would be slightly larger (10.1 inch)

Thoughts?

I'd wait for the microsoft surface tablet.

Or if you have an iPad how about vnc if you use a pc. If you use a mac there are other screen sharing alternatives for the iPad.
