Connection of a Kronos with an FTP server
For PCG Tools I wrote a manual. In the new manual there is a detailed description of how to connect a Korg Kronos with a USB/Ethernet interface to a computer with help of a free FTP program (Core FTP LE).
This description is NOT specific for PCG Tools.
In chapter 11 of the manual it can be found:

Is it possible to connect the Kronos wirelessly?
I would think a wireless USB dongle might do the trick, but I would like to know if anyone has tried it for a fact.

I'd recommend checking out the KRONOS manuals, which have quite a bit of information on this subject.Zyde wrote:You should add list of supported USB Ethernet and how to setup them with Kronos too.

Note that the information in my manual is NOT official Korg documentation and it is only one way of connecting USB/Ethernet.
For more information, as Dan says, look into the official guides first. Korg's documentation is very well written.
My manual is just an addition to use one example of an FTP program to connect (Core FTP LE in my case).

I only see Connected (on the Kronos) when I enter the IP address manually.michelkeijzers wrote:Note that the information in my manual is NOT official Korg documentation and it is only one way of connecting USB/Ethernet.

But Core ftp LE 64 version tells me Can't establish connection if I do that.
If I enter DHCP auto on the Kronos it tells me that the name is valid but no files found.

Hmm strange, however it might have to do with a lots of things.
In case manual setting works, I suggest you use than the manual IP address.

Problem solved.michelkeijzers wrote:Hmm strange, however it might have to do with a lots of things.

I disconnected the ethernet / usb adapter then re-connected that cable.
An IP address conflict message appeared where Connected should appear on the Kronos Network page
Changed the IP address on the Kronos
Changed the Core FTP LE setting for the Kronos IP too
All connected now.
Hope this helps others.
