New to this arranger thing, is there any differences between the MA and the software type programs, I'm sure there are but wouldn't it make sense just to use software if it's an inhouse type thing??
Any Comments appreciated..I just bought the MA but have 30 days to return it and am thinking I wasted my money possibly..
Korg MA vs Garag Band or Mixcraft..

Hi Mike,
We have already been in touch and I have supplied you with part of my Resources for the Korg Micro. In actual fact I think you should try those out first and get to grips with the working method of the keyboard. Garageband has virtually nothing to do with a ready-made arranger keyboard that, apart form thousands of sounds, provides you with scores and scores of complete accompaniments ( styles) in which you can leave out certain elements to your hearts content. For example is the accompaniment has two percussion tracks, one bass and five other acc. instruments, you can mute whichever of these tracks so that you will be left with the basics, drums and bass.
Garageband to the best of my knowledge is more of an extensive recording program as well as teaching programme.
Do not know whether you have read my article on the use of the Micro Arranger but if not check it out here:

kind regards,
John

[quote="johnsmies"]Hi Mike,

Yes, exactly, I'm quite disappointed in the size of the keys, and the quality and volume of the sound, I have to turn it all the way up on the volume slide and that is not even loud enough...
I'm quite sure I am going to return it...
