Damper pedal reversed!?

Post by gzussturbo »

I bought an apex afp7 damper pedal for my Kronos, but when I plug it in, the notes automatically sustain, and when I press it it cuts the sound off, isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Change the damper pedal polarity -- see page 781 of Parameter Guide.

This is just a setting you need to switch. I'm afraid I'm not near my Kronos and don't remember precisely where it is, but I'm pretty sure its in Globals somewhere.

Thank you guys! It worked! In global settings you just hit the controllers/midi tab and then change damper polarity from (-) to (+)

thanks again!

Did you "write" the polarity? That's in the "Page Menu", upper RH corner.
