Nanokontrol 2 and pro tools 10: can they work together?

Post by TheLobster »

Hi,

I just received a nanokontrol 2 and i'm trying to make it work as a midi controller for pro tools 10.

I installed the drivers, but Pro tools won't see the controller in any way. I read that you can try to make it work as a M-audio peripheral, wich i tried, but stil it's not working.

I have also been looking for tutorials on the web, but with no success.

Is anyone aware of this problem? Is there a solution to it?

Thank you,

Luke

I'm sorry kikedeolivos... I don't mean to be ungratefull, i've read many times and checked every link... Still i don't understand your reply.

Do you mean i have to program the Nano 2 using the korg control editor? If so, how?

Should definitively work.

Maybe you need to reinstall the drivers.
ALSO, make sure your NKII is in "Protools" Mode. This can be done EITHER by selecting it in the Korg Utility (top right corner) and then saving it to the NK2 by selecting "Write Scene" OR by pressing a certain combinations of buttons while connecting it to the PC (see the manual for the exact keys to press for Protools).
Then it should work. Good luck!

Same question, but nanoKONTROL (1st series)

?
What do I have to do to get the first version of nanoKONTROL set up to act as a simple control surface for ProTools 10?
Thanks in advance,
