different sizes and quality of music instruments

Post by Mikeeee »

Relating to different size musical instruments.
It seems that if you are very accomplished it won't matter.

It reminds me of an experience I had a few years back.
I have played a acoustic guitar for many years. Not very well. I don't practice enough. Anyway 5 years ago I bought an electric half size guitar.
A real cheapy. cost me about $20 dollars and it was terrible to play.

so under the bed it went.

Soon after a lead guitarist started working for us and I told him about my cheap electric guitar.

He was in a band that played in top spots and after hearing him play I thought he was on par with world top players like John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert, Eddie Van Halen and Yngwie Malmsteen:- born Lars Johan Yngve Lannerbäck.

He asked for a lend of my guitar and said to come to his next performance .

At the concert after a couple of songs he stopped and went behind the drummer and came back up front with my little guitar.
"Look at this piece of crap" he said. "Mike down there, wants me to play it" The audience had a big laugh and away he went. They played a couple of Led Zepplins and we were amazed how good that little guitar of mine sounded and how well he played it.
My Machines:-
