Songwriting app for iPad

Post by Niblit »

Just found thins free app and thought I'd let you know about it.

Basically just what I need for songwriting. It lets you type in your ideas for the song AND record sound on the same page, so if you have a tune in your head or even a couple of bars recorded on the keyboard, just record it and take it with you so you don't forget the tune.

Don't know about you lot, but I get frustrated sitting at the keyboard for so long, especially when I've got mental block, so this makes it easy to just relax somewhere else and jot down ideas as they come along.

Really cool, and free.

So, are you gonna tell us what app you're referring to, or keep us in suspense?

 errr sorry.. It's called SuperNote and its free to try, but the free version only restricts the number of sheets to 4. I only need one for a song, so this has been no problem.

not much use for the musically illiterate, like me

my ideas only come out of semi-randomly pushing buttons, pots and sliders, so I'm never in danger of forgetting an idea. unlike a real musician ;)
