Computer connection

Post by Elikbelik »

Hi, - all new to the Forum.
Just got a microstation and have trouble connection to my PC. I tried with my laptop and had no problems [Window 7]. But my PC [Windows XP] won't admit that the microstation is connected. even though it gives me a message of 'found new hardware' and I install the driver manually, when I open the editor I get a message saying that the micro isn't connected, and indeed - it doesn't respond to any key pressing. I got this specifically for using with the PC, VST etc. so this is very fustrating.javascript:emoticon(':(')

Any idea what's wrong?

Thank you!

[oops: edited to refer to the right Driver file ]

That's odd -- I've had no problems running under WindowsXP with my microStation, so it isn't XP.

Did you load the latest driver

PC:Driver:USA_Korg USB-MIDI Driver 1.1.4(r4) (Win).zip

available at:

http://www.korg.com/uploads/Download/US ... Win%29.zip

You can find it on the official Korg site at:

http://www.korg.com/microstation

on the "Support and Downloads" page under the "Drivers" tab.

Good Luck!
Bill.
