ipolysix - FX not working in synth drum sounds

If I program a synth sound in the drum edit section the FX work while on the edit page but as soon as I revert to the sequence mode the FX are lost....anyone else experience this? Is it a bug ? Thanks.

I have this problem too. Even the modulation generator: sounds great and works when I am on that screen - for that drum instrument - but as soon as I switch to any other window, mixer, sequencer,other synth etc - the modulation is gone. Have you had any luck?

The reason is that once you leave the drum edit section, the drum is converted to a static sample and not live-synthetized anymore. And as far as I remember, it's in mono, not stereo, and it's usually shorter than you could expect when you design your drum, especially if you try to use drum tracks to actually do additional bass or lead.

I'm having the same issue, though it's even with the presets. I load a preset, leave the edit screen, and it sounds different. TBH, no matter how different it is before I leave the edit screen, it all sounds pretty much the same after. I find this to be quite counter intuitive to the nature of having these features... Is there any way I can get aound this?
