Hi everyone, I have had an SV-1 for about a year and half now. I have about 15 dead keys right now, press them and nothing happens. After moving the keyboard around, a few came back, but still have a lot out. I searched the problem and tried the following:
-Turn the keyboard upside down and shake about
-Turn the keyboard side to side and shake about
-Violently shake it in every which direction while cursing at it
-Removing the bottom board to expose the keys (didn't see anything obviously wrong)
Any ideas?
TIA
-Patrick

Re: Dead Keys
Hopefully you still have warranty? Then send it back and let Korg fix it. There shouldn't be problems like this on a keyboard that is only a year and half old!prienzo wrote:Hi everyone, I have had an SV-1 for about a year and half now. I just bought a SV-1, and all these keybed issues are starting to make me nervous

If you registered it online you have a 2 year warranty.prienzo wrote:I think the warranty is only 1 year, but correct me if I'm wrong. I sent an email to Korg anyway so hopefully I hear back soon. This is completely unacceptable for a keyboard this new, under warranty or not...
