Padkontrol HELP PLEASE

i have a microkorg synthesizer, and just bought a padkontrol....the only software i have is the basic editor librarian software that comes with the padkontrol......i need to know how to hook up the padkontrol to my synthesizer, and how to get it all to work properly...somebody please help me...this is my first midi device, so i do not know how any of this works, i have had the padkontrol for 3 days and have not been able to get it to work yet lol......I NEED HELP

do you mean directly? connect midi lead from OUT on pad control to IN on microkorg, the IN on padKontrol to out on microkorg.

i did that...i just can not get the editor librarian software that comes with the padkontrol to work.....it says "midi device not found"

Sorry don't own padkontrol but knew lot of people struggle with initial midi connecting. Is the padkontrol usb, if so have you loaded the usb driver as well as the editor(check if new version on korg site) if so try connecting to another usb socket (does comp recognise?)
