Loading a Locked PA800 or PA3X set on PA600

I just purchased a Korg PA-600 and I want to buy a set made by a developer but I do not know if it will work for the PA-600 because it is a locked set. Will it work as long as it is not compressed PA3x files?

That depends a little on what type you are talking about. Sound, Pads and Performance reads as they are from Pa3X and Pa800. Styles has to be read through the songbook using the songbook creator, but don't ask me how...

I'm not sure about what that locked file you asked about...just saw that part in your question..

I am wanting to load a set that was made for either the PA800 or PA3X. Locked means that you can't copy it. I would be purchasing this from a developer. It comes with styles, samples, sounds and performances I believe. I am just wondering if anyone has any experience loading a set like this.

A third-party developer is obliged to include Pa600 usage reference , otherwise do not proceed on purchase !
Pa600 has a new way of locked resources that is not compatible with common USB stick locked resources
which means that this developer must been officially associated with KorgPa (NDA) that provides internal
resources locking software !
