How to "program" notes?

Post by KORG2 »

SO, I know how to records a song that I'playing on the keyboard. And I know the "grid sequencer" to program drum patterns. But Is it also possible to program whole songs (not only drums)? The reason is: my daughter plays with the keyboard and wants to learn songs. SO I thought I could "program" the simple melodies and songs for her so taht she can play them with the microSTation. I sthis possible?

Because they are crap! Her friend and our uncle have such keyboards and they don't even come close to the sound quality of the microStation. She is 11 years old and loves the microStation's sounds! She also plays some piano songs on it but now wants to proceed to more difficult songs. So, I just want to know if this is possible with the microStation (my original question).
