Hi all,
I am working on a simple java program to convert Microkorg XL patches to Korg M3+exb-radias... I came quite far allready, but still have about 15% of the parameters to figure out, and the vocoder paramters...
I am loading the Mkxl_all files and converting to an M3(+radias) .PCG file.
Also working on radias to M3+exb and R3 to exb-radias (both at 60% right now)..
My question:
Does anyone have the FULL midi implementation chart of the Microkorg XL???
And, can someone post me some banks (or email) so I could do some further testing in converting them??
Been working with the implementation chart of the older "normal" microkorg, but these are not fully compatible so I had to figure everything out by myself.
Thanks in advance!

The XL has more in common with the R3 than the original microKorg. They are similar form factor and marketing but that is it. The Xl is really a castrated R3, with a few different PCM waveforms and seriously cut down effects section. So you may make more progress with the R3's implementation chart.
I assume you already downloaded the manuals?

X-trade,
I allready downloaded the manuals, and midi implementation data if available, but some parameters are in different places or different bits, which makes it a bit harder to do the conversion.
The Radias, on the other hand, has much more in common, except for the effects...I will have to think twice about converting these as well (effect engines are SO different, would be a hard time converting values and settings so it would work.
Parameter data, mod sequencer and vocoder data for the radias is almost complete, have to do some testing (as my M3 and radias are'nt next to me while programming).
I'll keep you all updated...
