Looking to make my synth setup more versatile and was considering running one/them through an AX3000G. Couldn't see anything keyboard specific info in the user manual, just guitars and PCs, with a little MIDI controlling as well.
Anyone have experience and/or opinions with the idea??
Thanks
Running synths thru an AX3000G

I've thought about it but not tried it.
When I get hope I'll put my microKorg into my AX3000B and see what happens!
Of course it'll only be mono and the effects you'll get are fairly limited.
If you have any more powerful workstation or synths then I wouldn't consider it. For example the KARMA, Radias, and Kronos in my collection all have their own fairly flexible and comprehensive FX routing and it is saved on a per-patch basis.
For more basic synths like the microKorg I can see there might be some appeal.

Awwwhhhh s**t! You wanna really crunch your sound, do you?
Well here are few tips on running synths through the AX3000
First off basic solid sounding Bass sounds are the best way to go. You use it right you'll get some nice guitar sounds out of the AX3000.
You need to lower the main out put volume and also switch to line out not amp.
Use the cabs sparingly.
lower direct sound volume and raise effect sound when ever possible for best results.
Use distortion sparingly and put more focus on the filters.
There you go guys have fun.
