Trinity V3 Pro sound compression

Post by Merlekeys »

I have had a V3 Pro for many years and am now about to gig with it for the first time. In rehearsals I am constantly having to adjust the master sound level as I switch between Combis and Progs which is a bit of a pain, especially mid-song. Is there any sort of on-board compression function that sets the sounds at a uniform level for all the different Combis and Progs or can anyone suggest an alternative? Thanks.

Not specifically.

Spend a little time in the studio go through the said patches, edit the levels and save them out. It's all in the combi editing - you can alter the volumes of the Programs from the main Combi page - and is very easily done. If I remember, there is even an option to edit levels of all patches in a combi en masse. Then just re-save the combi, job done. This stuff only requires a few button presses, it's extremely quick to do.

Otherwise the only other way would be to use an external compresser/limiter.
