software sampler for korg pa500

Dear All,
Recently i purchased a korg pa 500 , my question is Can i use any software sampler with korg pa500 using MIDI connection through my laptop.

In general, Any device with Midi in/out connections can be midi'ed to other hardware/software midi devices!
