HDR Audio Inputs not Working

Post by meminor »

I can't get the input ports on my Trinity to work.

I've tried the analog and digital inputs.

The analog ones worked for about 5 minutes yesterday then nothing (other than an occasional spike on the level meter once in a while).

The digital ones didn't work, I set my clock to s/pdif and everything, as they manual suggested.

I have my track output set, checked all my cables but nothing. I'm not picking up any input at all.

I think my HDR port/board might be fried. Thoughts?

I've got none, sorry. I don't think it is 'fried' completely, otherwise it would not work at all. Perhaps a bad solder joint that opens as the machine warms up. This is usually checked with a heat gun or a 'freeze' spray. But perhaps a good visual check under a magnifying glass will also reveal something.

If it stopped working completely since your first post, then there's a chance that some chip(s) went belly up.
