I'm Eyeball and I'm new here. I have read some topics about the Volca, Monotron and Monotribe models here which have been very usefull and I tought I'd make a topic to introduce myself and while I'm at it thank you for all the helpful info I've found so far
I have been thinking about getting a synthesizer for a long time now, but never knew where to look and which ones were affordable. As a compromise I used to own a Digitech Synth Bass Wah for my bass which was cool but you could only use a couple of presets and string instruments are awesome but keys are less limited.
Then suddenly I came across the Kaossilator 2 (cool but I want to make my own sounds) and the Monotron very recently and watched every video I could find, then I saw the Monotribe and the Volca series. I have been trying to decide which is the right one for me for a while now and I've decided I probably should have all of them as soon as my wallet allowes it
I also just saw a MicroKorg (the old one) for 170 euro's in a very good condition which is only 10 euro's more then the Monotribe but it comes with the 50 euro adapter included so it seems like the logical choice if you look at bang/buck ratio.
So I'm not sure yet which one I will buy but I already do know that I love Korg, the products they are making and are about to release and the fact that they actually seem to listen to what the consumers wants. Awesome!
