Oddly enough, I would have guessed plastic/wire/electrical myself. Maybe you're just hungry thoughGregC wrote:what kind of burning smell ? like a fireplace ? a BBQ grill ?
Stir up that pot (of something nice to eat, of course)

I was operating on the principle that most things are self evident in life. If you buy a new car or new appliance it immediately starts burning and smelling, yes, of course, shut the darn thing off and return it. Generally, when something is burning, it is giving off smoke and something is going to be hot to touch.
New cars give off whats known as a new car smell. Its smell that comes from the combination of materials found in new automobiles
The Kronos also has a smell, from a combination of new materials

So the "BBQ grill" postulation alludes to the possibility of an unfortunate rodent roast within the Kronos? Clever! "I dare say, dear Watson, I smell a rat!"... Wow, you really did go thru the many possibilitiesGregC wrote:what kind of burning smell ? like a fireplace ? a BBQ grill ?

the open nature of a posters query makes for entertaining possibilities.rrricky rrrecordo wrote:So the "BBQ grill" postulation alludes to the possibility of an unfortunate rodent roast within the Kronos? Do you have an outside BBQ ? Its fun to prepare a dinner for the BBQ, open the BBQ lid and see a creature leap out of it . Great dinnertime conversation, too
