Is it possible to connect the I Pad 4 to the Korg Pa2x pro. ? instead of I Rig keys? if yes How can i do that?

I use an iRig MIDI interface along with a 30 pin to lightning adapter for MIDI control. I'm using it on an M3 but don't see why it wont work with any keyboard. I also route the iPad headphone output to the M3 audio input so I can use the M3's effects processors.
One thing to note is that the iRig MIDI is supposed to be able to charge the iPad while being connected to the keyboard using a separate usb cable which is supplied but I could not get that to work. The iPad would always pop up a message saying it was not able to charge with that device.
But other than the charging issue it works fine.

I think that the upcoming iConnectMIDI series may also make a nice interface but we don't know when or even if iConnectivity will release it.
