Kronos 61 key problem: delays its note off command?

Post by Andriessen »

I have one key (B3) that sustains longer in any patch then other keys. It looks like it does not give its note off command in time. I think it is a mechanical problem.

Anybody experiences the same problem?

Any fixes?

Thanks

Yep, the lowest E on my Kronos 61 does the exact same thing. If I repeat the note fast enough, it doesn't retrigger. I have to wait for that extra half-second or so for it to note-off before it will trigger again. I would imagine the key contact is sticking somehow.

Yes indeed. i had this problem too with a few keys. I got the rubber contacts replaced and all works fine from then.
I remember I had another discussion on this forum about it.
