Hello!
As part of preparing for a live-gig I decided to blow dust off my old KP1 and use it for the tape-delay.
Tested it out last night by hooking a monosynth to the line in RCA, and line-out to mixer. Through the line-out there is an incredibly loud humming distortion, with dry/wet signal barely audible. I fiddled with absolutely every parameter I could but still got the same horrible noise. Tested the MIC-input, and its the same.
However, plugging the PHONES output into the mixer gives a clear signal with no distortion (both for MIC and line-in).
Any suggestions? I thought it had something to do with the power-supply (cheap generic multi-voltage), but I remember using it with a wrong adapter before and the whole device simply did not make noise at all.
Thank you.

the only thing i can think of is that the gain on your mixer was extremely low and you werent getting a good signal from the lin eout...the headphones line would be much hotter and so that's why you do hear a good signal from there...that or bad rca jacks on the line out.
